Make Work Fun
The work consists of what a body is obliged to do, and the game is an agency is not required to do so. -Mark Twain
With all due respect to Mark Twain, I think there’s a better way. Work can be fun. All work can be turned into a game.
Here are some ideas to help you find pleasure in each job:
1. Listen to music. Turn the CD player, MP3 player or radio. Music has the ability to take our minds of the most daunting aspects of any job.
2. Doing their job in a competition. If you work with someone, have a good race to see who can have done before. Or you can fill almost any task.
3. Just dive in most of our feelings of fear disappears when immersed in a project. What made him want to postpone or avoid that disappears as soon as we started.
4. Ask yourself: “What I can take advantage of this” work Few are totally devoid of any sense of satisfaction that comes from just doing psychologically, we must try to be happy is to work for himself… often its own reward. Make an effort to find satisfaction in what gives work to do.
5. Keeping score. If your job is to make cold calls all day, keep track of how many calls. Reduce the number you have done before noon, all they do, for now, and as you do all day. Then in the next few days to see if you can exceed the number of previous days. This creates a challenge in the job instead of being a huge target.
